Moorlands Curriculum Overview

Children in Years 3 to 6 study French. They learn how to communicate, listening to and speaking french phrases and discovering about the french culture and different areas in France. Children also focus on how the spoken word translates into the written word. The children learn through games and role play.

Spring 2025

Moorlands has the benefit of having a parent that is french fluent speaking. AS part of our work with the community, this parent comes into school and helps support pupils in Key Stage 2 with pronunciation and spelling of the French language.
